Bowl For Kids' Sake
It's not
about bowling!It’s about the Kids! Bowl for Kids' Sake is an annual fundraising program for
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mississippi where individuals can be a bowler, a
team captain, a sponsor, or all three! Bowlers get to enjoy a fun outing with
friends, family, and colleagues and help with our most important annual fundraiser.Each team member that secures a minimum of $100 receives a t-shirt and
additional prizes are awarded the more money raised.The greatest reward is knowing they are helping make matches in their
community!
The sponsors for the Hinds/Madison and Rankin County Bowl
for Kids’ Sake contributing to the success of the event were Flight Sponsors-Bancorp South, BankPlus, Deuce McAllister
Nissan, LLC, Deviney Construction Company, Inc. and Trustmark.
Lane Sponsors
were Atmos Energy, Blue Cross & Blue Shield
of Mississippi, Butler Snow, Cellular South, Ergon, Mississippi Baptist Health
Systems, River Oaks Hospital - Woman’s Hospital, SuperStop, and TempStaff.
Rankin County Bowl For Kids’ Sake was held on March 6th at Family Bowling Lanes.
They raised $30,000.We are so proud of how the community embraced this event
and raised money for our children.

Hinds/Madison County Bowl For Kids’ Sake was held on March 23 & 24 at Paradise Lanes. They raised
$20,000.
Volunteers and team captains were
organized this year by the Young Up and Coming Professionals Society (Y.U.P.S.).Young Upcoming Professionals is a meaningful networking organization
of dedicated, talented young professionals in their 20’s and 30’s in the Metro
area. This program is organized by a group of young professionals from the Jackson
Metro Area, with the assistance of the Metro Jackson Chamber of Commerce. Each
person represents a company that has allowed him or her to donate their time
and skills. These elite individuals are meeting the need for arranged interaction
between the Metro Area’s Young Professionals. A special thanks to Brandi Garrett
and Jill Montgomery who spearheaded this event for YUPS.
Hattiesburg Bowl
For Kids’ Sake was held on February
3 at Hub Lanes.They
raised $19,000.Lane sponsors were Forrest General Hospital and Southeast MS Rural Health Initiative.
A special thanks to our local Community Advisory Boardand Chair of our CAB- David McMillan.
Coast Bowl For
Kids’ Sake was held on August 11th
at Island Strikz in Gulfport.They raised
close to $20,000.Mississippi Power
was the Title Sponsor with a $10,000 donation to BBBS.A special thanks to our local volunteers and
participants on the Coast.
